Participation Team Rules

Minimum of 5 persons per team
Teams may include any combination of "registered" 10k and 5k Race participants, 5k Walk participants, Fundraisers and/or Volunteers.
Team members must register before the event either online at Active.com or through paper registration (mailed by 5/11/08) and fill in the team name field.
Volunteers must register online before the event through the Volunteers page of this website and fill in the team name field to be included as part of a participation team.

Participation Team Scoring

Winning Participation Team will have the highest score combining number of participants and total team fundraising dollars calculated as follows:

* Participants include any of the following: Registered Runner, Registered Walker, Registered Volunteer or Registered Fundraiser (who has raised at least $10).

Note: One individual may count as more than one participant. Ex. A Pasta Dinner volunteer who walks the 5k on race morning may count as 2 participants.

"Registered" means that the appropriate registration form has been submitted and the team name field has been filled in.

Race Team Rules and Scoring

Minimum of 5 persons per team per event
No maximum limit
Race Teams may be a subset of a larger Participation Team. (We will automatically average the top 5 finishers per event from each Participation Team. Race Teams should simply follow the same registration procedures as Participation Teams.)

Winning teams will be determined by the lowest average finishing time of the first 5 team finishers, regardless of gender.

A winning 10k race team trophy and a winning 5k race team trophy will be awarded.
